Archdeaconate

An archdeaconate is a religious territorial circumscription, subdivision of a diocese, placed under the authority of an episcopal vicar (who can bear the title of archdeacon during his service), appointed by the bishop to assist him in this territorial part of the diocese.

Transfer tax: 25% every 1000 arpents of distance. This tax is levied on each transfer made to this organisation. Half of the amount of this tax is deducted from the amount collected by the recipient, so that both parties contribute to the transfer costs.
