A monastic state is a monastic order which reigns over a territory, as a temporal sovereign.

Sphere: temporal and spiritual.
In conflict with the following organisations: City-state of Port Royal, County of Clairval. Organisations of this type must be at least 240 arpents apart.
Implicit vassalage. The village of Discovery Bay must be independent.
This upgrade is possible from the following types of organisations: Monastic order.
Must be independent. This organisation is a vassal of the parish of Port Royal.
Minimum number of vassals: 5. This organisation requires more vassals.
Ownership. You must be the owner of this organisation.
Sphere: temporal and spiritual. You cannot have multiple organisations of the same sphere of influence in the same domain.
